You can visit any nearby Lesco service center or you also have the option to apply online. Lesco’s new connection application procedure is simple and time bound. You have two ways to apply either online or manual. In the manual process, a customer personally visits the Lesco service center, obtains the application form and submits after attaching all required documents.

The online application method is more convenient and simple if you have the computer facility. Open the ENC online portal and apply for a new electricity connection easily. You can also apply using your mobile phone. 

To apply online you need to know your sub-division, maximum load and reference number of your neighbor’s electricity meter. If you have an existing Lesco meter you can use your own meter’s reference number instead of the neighbor meter number. Fill the complete application and upload your scanned required documents. Remember you must attach documents in .jpeg format or in pdf format.

Procedure For LESCO New Connection Application Online 2024

Here we will guide you through all the steps in a simple way. Follow this step-by-step guide to submit an application online:

  • First of all, open the ENC online portal on your mobile phone or Personal Computer. 
  • In the portal interface, find the apply button on the left side of the screen. Open the application form by clicking on the apply option.
  • Application will require your area information like electricity distribution company, sub-division and load type you need.
  • Complete application form will be displayed when you enter the above mentioned info in the system.
  • Now you have to choose the required connection type from the given options. The application form shows 10 types of connection and you have to choose one of them. If you are applying for a new home connection, you should choose the domestic type.
  • Now the applicant has to enter personal information in the form Like Applicant name, Father Name, citizenship, address and mobile number. You should also enter the number of electricity meters already installed on the property.
  • Make a file of required documents. Get these documents attested by the notary public. Scan all these attested documents and store them in your computer.
  • Upload all the required scanned copies of documents.
  • -Submit the online application form after uploading necessary documents.
  • -After successful submission of application now print your application form from the print option.
  • -Attach all the necessary documents as proof and submit them to the concerned Lesco office.
  • -After verifying your documents, a demand notice will be issued to you.
  • -Now pay the demand notice dues online or in any designated bank.
  • -Submit the receipt of payment of demand notice to the concerned office.
  • -Your meter will be installed after verification of payment.

Documents Required for LESCO New Connection

  • -Ownership documentary proof (Fard, Registry, or file)
  • -An attested copy of Customer’s Computerized National Identity Card is mandatory.
  • -A customer need CNIC copies of two witnesses for connections except for single phase
  • -A lesco duplicate bill copy of one neighbor (If a meter already installed, you may provide reference number of existing meter instead of neighbor bill)
  • -Test report about the wiring safety issued by wiring contractor
  • -At the end of application, you have given an undertaking that all the provided information is correct and you will face any legal consequences if you try to fool the system.
  • -In case of multiple owners, power of attorney can be used
  • -If you are living on rent, you must apply an NOC 
  • -A copy of tariff signed by the consumer

-NOTE: Scanned documents must be under 300 kilo bytes and file format must be “.jpeg” or “.pdf”.

After submitting your application form, you can take printout your application form for manual submission.

Demand Notice ( DN )

When you submit the complete application with all the required documents, Lesco will issue a demand notice(DN) on your name. You can also print your DM from the ENC portal easily. Just pay the Demand notice and provide payment proof to Lesco.

After a few verifications your meter will be issued. Lesco staff will visit you and install the electricity meter.

Domestic consumers can easily get their new Lesco connection. The process for getting connections for industry and corporate companies, a number of extra documents and NOCs will be required.

Change Connection Name/Load/Tariff

Changing the electricity connection is advised if you rented a house. It is easy and simple without visiting the Lesco offices. You do not have to stand in line or need any reference to use this service. Just use your computer to file change connection name/load/tariff from the comfort of your home.
